  • The article discusses the role that the use of agriculture and digital technology plays in social development and food systems in Africa, with a particular focus on the impact that digital technology has on smallholders, or small farmers. The impact that digital technology has on affecting social change in Africa is discussed. An overview of farmers' access to seeds and fertilizers, including the role the Nigerian government has played in purchasing and delivering seeds and fertilizer to farmers, is provided
