Resumen de Lenguaje y poder: entre consignas y acciones sobre acciones

  Este ensayo tiene como objetivo problematizar la relación entre el lenguaje y el poder. Para ello se empleará la siguiente estrategia: en primer lugar, se hace la distinción entre lo que corresponde a los cuerpos como materia física formada que posee ciertas propiedades naturales y lo que pasa sobre ellos en términos de acontecimientos socio simbólicos que determinan los modos de ser (se afirma que los cuerpos y los acontecimientos son distintos). En segundo lugar, se caracteriza los enunciados como consignas. La idea básica es mostrar que el lenguaje puede ser entendido en el marco de su realización colectiva en la medida en que se reconozca la manera en que agencia codificaciones sobre la vida de los individuos. Finalmente, a la definición de los enunciados-consigna se suma la problematización de las relaciones de poder, con el fin de tratar de presentar con precisión el esquema abstracto de las funciones que están a la base de las sujeciones políticas. La hipótesis general es que los enunciados son funciones que agencian relaciones de poder y que, en virtud de ello, emergen en el campo social como heterogéneas determinaciones sobre la existencia íntima y pública de las personas.

  The objective of this essay is to confront the relationship between language and power: In order to do so, it will employ the following strategy: first, it makes the distinction between that which corresponds to bodies as physical-formed matter which pose certain natural properties and that which happens above them in terms of socio-symbolic events that determine ways of being (it affirms that bodies and events are distinct). Second, It characterizes statements as slogans. The basic idea is to show that language can be understood in the framework of its collective execution to the extent that it recognizes the way that it codifies people’s lives. Finally, the article adds the problem of power relationships to the definition of statement-slogans, with the purpose of trying to present, with precision, the abstract scheme of the functions that are at the basis of political subjections. The general hypothesis is that statements are functions that facilitate power relationships and for this reason, they emerge in the social field as heterogeneous determinations of the public and private lives of people.
