  • The new Higher biology curriculum in Scotland encourages students to carry out experimental investigations on limiting factors in photosynthesis. This article describes experimental systems for measuring the effect of light intensity and carbon dioxide concentration on the rate of photosynthesis that will allow such work to be carried out.
