  • Resumen
    • Despite the belief that emotions are important in the learning process, research in the area of emotions and learning, especially in science, is scant. This article explores students' self-reported emotions in a lesson focusing on understanding a controversial issue. Specifically, it describes the learning environment and reports students' emotions about various aspects of the learning process. Our findings suggest that students have differing emotions about controversial issues and the various aspects of the specific learning environment.
