We propose a theory of social control: the theory of intersinstitutional alignment (TIA). The conditions of possibility of this theory are: 1) delimitation of the object in order to distinguish it from social order; 2) the adoption of the socio-constructivism tempered by the structural perspective; 3) the transfer of the focus from the fields to the relations between the fields of the social space of the control.

Propõe-se uma teoria do controle social: a teoria do alinhamento interinstitucional (TAI). As condições de possibilidade desta teoria são: 1) delimitação do objeto de modo a distingui-lo da ordem social; 2) a adoção do socioconstrutivismo temperado pela perspectiva estrutural; 3) a transferência do enfoque dos campos em si para as relações entre os campos do espaço social do controle.
