Resumen de Políticas del amor materno, Chile 1927-1937

  El presente artículo, se ha propuesto determinar la utilidad política y económica que los médicos y las “visitadoras sociales” le confirieron al amor materno en Chile, en el tratamiento del problema del Binomio “Madre y Niño” al interior de sus artículos escritos en cuatro revistas de circulación científica entre 1927 y1937: Servicio Social, Beneficencia, Asistencia Social y Acción Social. Con las herramientas teóricas que le ha proporcionado a la historiografía los estudios culturales, los estudios de género, el análisis crítico del discurso y la filosofía política, analizaremos las fuentes históricas disponibles y buscaremos demostrar que en el proyecto político e ideológico de los profesionales de la salud y del servicio social,  dicha dimensión afectiva, tendrá una utilidad  política y económica, en la medida que logre naturalizar y afianzar en las mujeres del pueblo su rol social/sexual materno para la formación y cuidado de la vida de futuras madres y ciudadanos del país, en medio de un escenario de crisis

  This article has proposed to identify the political and economic usefulness that doctors and the "social visitors" (social worker) conferred to a maternal love in Chile, in the treatment of binomial problem of Mother and Child, to the inside of their articles written in four scientific magazines, between 1927 and 1937: Social Service, Charitable, Social Assistance and Social Action. With the theoretical tools that it has provided to the historiography of cultural studies, gender studies, critical discourse analysis and the political philosophy, we will analyze the historical sources available and we will seek to demonstrate that in the political and ideological project of the health professionals and social service, this affective dimension will have a political and economic usefulness, to the extent that achieves naturalize and reinforce, in the women of the people, its maternal social/sexual role for training and caring of the life of future mothers and citizens of the country, in the midst of a crisis scenario
