Resumen de Supplemento papirologico alle recenti edizioni dei Milesii: Praesocratica Herculanensia VIII
This paper provides a complete collection of the papyrological sources concerning the Milesians. Apart from some texts which do not appear in the Corpus dei Papiri Filosofici Greci e Latini (CPF), this collection also takes into account some Herculanean testimonia to Thales, Anaximander, and Anaximenes which have been forgotten in both the old and most recent editions of these pre-Socratic philosophers. An appendix deals with the alleged references to the Milesians in Book 11 of Epicurus’ On Nature.
