  • The article reports that an undisclosed amount of common equity tier one (CET1) compliant CoCos sold by two Greek banks including National Bank of Greece (NBG) and Piraeus Bank SA. The two CoCos are perpetual and carry an eight percent annual coupon and the pair were spared the compulsory issuance after they raised enough private funds to placate the Greek and European authorities.
