  • The article discusses the New Communiqué on Lease Certificates III-61.1 that introduced new types of sukuk issuance. Following types of institution are entitled to asset lease companies (ALCs) under the new law incluidng banks, intermediary institutions operating in either portfolio brokerage general custody services or underwriting activities and mortgage finance institutions.
