Resumen de Turismo e lazer em cemitérios: Algumas considerações

  In the scope of space’s organization, the cemeteries are accomplished as devices of great relevance and susceptible of diverse analyses and interpretations. Marks printed by the man, reflect the social, cultural, religious and identity structure of the community that had created them, and are impregnated of values and meanings, composing, in this way, a rich and dense cultural context and experience. In these circumstances, the article aims to show and analyse the tourism and leisure in the internal space of cemeteries from the use of its historical potential, artistic, cultural, religious and identity. To achieve this purpose, it is intended, in the first instance, reflect on the modern construction process of the necropolis built in the period of sanitary medicine, relating them to their recreation functions. After that, some experiences of this type of tourism will be presented in Brazilians and foreigners’ graveyards. Therefore, the study becomes an important way to understanding the relationship between tourism and cemetery.

  No âmbito da organização do espaço, os cemitérios efetivam-se como artefatos de significativa relevância e suscetíveis a diversas análises e interpretações. Marcas impressas pelo homem, refletem a estrutura social, cultural, religiosa, identitária da comunidade que os criaram, sendo impregnados de valores e significados, compondo, desta maneira, um rico e denso quadro cultural e de experiências. Nestas circunstâncias, o artigo tem como escopo abordar e analisar a exploração turística e de lazer nos espaços internos dos cemitérios a partir da utilização de seus potenciais históricos, artísticos, culturais, religiosos e identitários. Para alcançar tal intento, pretende-se, em um primeiro momento, refletir a respeito do processo de construção das necrópoles modernas, quersejam as construídas no período regente da medicina sanitarista, relacionando-as com suas funções de recreação. Para, em seguida, apresentar algumas experiências dessa moda lidade de turismo em campos dos mortos brasileiros e estrangeiros. De tal sorte, o estudo transforma -se em um importante veio para a compreensão da relação turismo e cemitério.
