Resumen de Starting the School Day Later Might Mean Lower Teen Crash Rates

Karen Rosenberg

  • According to this study:

    * Adolescents attending schools in districts with earlier morning start times had higher motor vehicle crash rates than those in schools with later start times.

    * A secondary analysis showed that teens with earlier start times had more crashes that involved running off the road to the right, an indirect measure of sleepiness.
