Resumen de Vin et patrimoine: L'Exemple du Château Du Clos-Vougeot

  Le Clos-Vougeot constitue l’un des lieux les plus représentatifs de la Bourgogne touristique et viticole à l’étranger. Cette contribution se propose d’étudier les différentes étapes de l’histoire du Clos-Vougeot, prestigieuse entité architecturale et vinicole. Nous nous f ocaliserons, en particulier, sur les dynamiques ayant permis, depuis la période médiévale jusqu’au XXe siècle, de faire de celieu, à la fois un emblème historique évoquant chez le dégustateur le sommet de la hiérarchie des crus, et un outil de promotion de la Bourgogne et des Bourgognes à l’échelle internationale. L’article aborde en premier lieu les étapes du développement du Château et du clos viticole. On étudie ensuite le moment clef (fin XIXe siècle-1ère moitié du XXe siècle), où, avec l’appui d’un folklore vineux inédit et inventé et l’émergence des AOC, le Clos-Vougeot acquiert sa pleine identité régionale, national et internationale

  The Clos-Vougeot is now as one of the most representative expression of wine and tourism in Burgondy for foreign wine lovers. This contribution aims to return on the different times of formation of the Clos-Vougeot , like architectural and vitivinicultural entity symbol of Burgundy. We wonder, in particular, on the dynamics (since the medieval period to the twentieth century) they make this place more than a historical landmark, a tool for the promotion of Burgundy and Burgundy wines in the word. Indeed, this site evokes for the taster the pinnacle of the hierarchy of regional wines. In first, we study the stages of the development of the Castle and the vineyards that surround it. Then we show the key moment (late nineteenth century-the first half of the twentieth century) which, via the concomitant emergence of a unique wine folklore and the “Appellation d’origine” reinforces the burgundian identity of Clos-Vougeot and make it a regional symbol.
