En este artículo se pretende reflexionar en torno a los conceptos de currículo, las consideraciones sobre su objeto de estudio, las tendencias, corrientes o perspectivas curriculares más representativas. La idea de empezar el artículo con la búsqueda de una definición de currículo y de una delimitación de su objeto, apunta a clarificar la discusión sobre las variables involucradas en el concepto. El segundo aparte aborda la discusión sobre las corrientes o perspectivas curriculares, con el propósito de delimitar los alcances de cada una de ellas en relación con la variable pertinencia. Mostrar desde el punto de vista de cada una, cuál o cuáles podría favorecer procesos de pertinencia social e integral. Sus planteamientos y las experiencias al respecto, nos permiten argumentar nuestra causa.

This article reflects on the concepts of curriculum, and considers its object of study, and the tendencies, currents or curricular perspectives that are more re-presentative. The idea of beginning the article with the search for a definition of curriculum and a delimitation of its object, points to clarify the discussion about the variables involved in the concept. The second section entails the discussion about currents or curricular perspectives, with the purpose of delimiting the reaches of each one in relation with the variable of pertinence. To portray, from the point of view of each one, which could favor the processes of social and integral pertinence. The expositions and experiences in respect to it, allows us to argument our cause.
