IM's graphite price ranges in mid-December were $1,400-1,800/tonne for large flake (94-97% C, +80 mesh, CIF Europe); $900-1,150/tonne for medium flake (85-87% C, +100 -80 mesh, CIF Europe); $1,050-1,400/tonne for medium flake (94-97% C, +100 -80 mesh, CIF Europe); $600-800/tonne for amorphous (80-85% C, Chinese, CIF Europe); and $950-1,200/tonne for medium flake (90% C, +100 -80 mesh, CIF Europe).
Prices for rare earths (min 99%, FOB China, bulk) were trading at the lower end of IM's ranges for lanthanum oxide ($18-24/kg) at $19/kg; neodymium oxide ($100-110/kg) at $102/kg; and europium oxide ($2,020-2,320/kg) at $2,020/kg, market observers said.
In mid-December, IM's price ranges for antimony trioxide were: $10,000-10,100/tonne (typically 99.95% Sb^sub 2^O^sub 3^, 5 tonne lots, CIF Antwerp/Rotterdam); $9,900-10,100/tonne (typically 99.95% Sb^sub 2^O^sub 3^, 20 tonne lots, FOB China); and $10,000-10,100/tonne (typically 99.95% Sb^sub 2^O^sub 3^, ex-works USA).
