Resumen de Biblia de Huesca, del conocimiento a su conservación

  Con motivo de la renovación museográfica del Museo Arqueológico Nacional se llevó a cabo la restauración de un importante códice del Departamento de Antigüedades Medievales, la conocida como Biblia de Huesca. En el presente artículo se realiza una descripción de la obra, tanto en sus valores intelectuales como materiales y la determinación y justificación de los tratamientos realizados. Las actuaciones han seguido el criterio de máximo respeto por la integridad de la obra, garantizando la mínima intervención y respetando y manteniendo todos los elementos originales.

  Due to the recent reform of the National Archaeological Museum and the renovation of its showrooms, one of the pieces that form part of the permanent collection, within the section of the Medieval History, has been restored: The Bible of Huesca.

  In this paper we make a description of the piece, both intellectual and material values and determination and justification of the treatment received. The procedure has followed the criteria of maximum respect for the integrity of the work, ensuring minimal intervention and respecting and maintaining all the original elements.
