    El ejército, la judicatura y la policía constituyen lo que puede llamarse el poder de seguridad, garante del orden público y la seguridad. Sin embargo, en Túnez, hasta el final del régimen de Ben Ali, el poder de seguridad era sobre todo un instrumento al servicio del poder político. Así, la caída del presidente Ben Ali dará lugar a un movimiento de democratización de este poder. No obstante, hay ciertos elementos que suscitan dudas sobre esta evolución, en grave riesgo de verse cuestionada o seriamente ralentizada.

    The army, the police and the judiciary represent what we can call the security forces, in charge of guaranteeing public order and security. yet, in Tunisia, until the end of the previous regime, the security forces were essentially at the service of the political power. Consequently, the fall of President Ben Ali entailed a process of democratisation of these forces. However, certain factors raise questions about this process which might be challenged or significantly slowed down.

    L’armée, la justice et la police constituent ce que l’on peut appeler le pouvoir sécuritaire, garant de l’ordre public et de la sécurité. Or, en Tunisie, le pouvoir sécuritaire fut, jusqu’à la fin du régime Ben Ali, avant tout un instrument au service du pouvoir politique. La chute du président Ben Ali va alors avoir pour conséquence un mouvement de démocratisation de ce pouvoir. Cependant, certains éléments poussent à s’interroger sur ce mouvement qui risque fort d’être remis en cause ou sérieusement ralenti.
