  Presentamos en esta contribución algunas reflexiones sobre el agroecosistema irrigado, creado en un ecosistema diferente del mediterráneo. Sin embargo, fue instalado en él, junto al agroecosistema mediterráneo, manteniendo relaciones entre ellos todavía por definir. No sólo es necesario completar un análisis sincrónico, sino también otro diacrónico, a partir de una evolución que puede ser percibida. Esta evolución permite que se ponga en marcha un proceso de intensificación agrícola a partir del siglo xii que conduce a un incremento de la producción para intercambios de mayor nivel, más generalizados que antes.

  We present in this paper some thoughts about the irrigated agroecosystem, created from an ecosystem different from the Mediterranean one. Nevertheless, it was Installed on it, along with the Mediterranean agroecosystem, having relationships between them still to be defined. Not only It is necessary to complete a synchronic analysis, but also a diachronic one, since an evolution can be perceived. This evolution allows to change into an agricultural intensification process since the 12th century that leads to an increased production for higher level exchanges, more widespread than before.
