  • Resumen
    • The article takes a look at the potential of British courts to sanction scheme of arrangement (SOA) restructuring by non-British businesses. It notes that an SOA is an alternative means for negotiating restructuring with creditors and shareholders. It cites that British courts can sanction an SOA scheme once a company is able to establish sufficient connection with England. It mentions several companies that have proposed SOA schemes including Drax Holdings in 2003 and Magyar Telecom in 2013
