Este trabajo analiza instituciones clave del Derecho Civil de Galicia en el contexto del siglo XXI, marcado por la influencia de Derecho de la Unión Europea en todos los planos, lo que obliga a propugnar cambios para hacer efectivo el principio de igualdad de hombres y mujeres, también en lo tocante al ejercicio de actividades autónomas.

This paper analyzes a number of key institutions of the Civil Law of Galicia in the context of the XXIth century, which is marked by the influence of the Law of the European Union at all levels, what compels to encourage changes to make effective the principle of equality between men and women, likewise in what relates to the performance of self-employed activities.
