Some German biblical scholars held anti-Semitic views in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Those anti-Semitic ideas surpassed the strict boundaries of the academic sphere and were adopted by Nazi ideologists. This paper deals with the specific case of Friedrich Delitzsch, whose proposals were accepted by Adolf Hitlerhimself and used in his anti-Semitic discourse.
