    El presente trabajo recoge los frutos de un conjunto de lecturas realizadas para fundamentar los contenidos teóricos de la docencia universitaria, que tienen como denominador común el hecho de abordar diversos aspectos relativos a la implantación de modo oficial de los estudios de la titulación de Podología en España, desde que se tiene constancia por los primeros documentos oficiales disponibles, que datan del siglo XIX, hasta la actualidad.Las perspectivas de análisis de este estudio son básicamente dos. De un lado, se ha pretendido profundizar en los aspectos más representativos de la legislación que a lo largo del tiempo ha regulado los estudios de Podología. La otra perspectiva de este análisis es la de identificar cuáles han sido los acontecimientos que han ocurrido y las medidas adoptadas que han permitido llegar al actual Grado en Podología. Para facilitar su comprensión se ha dividido el análisis en tres etapas bien diferenciadas, en la que se recogen los hechos que se han considerado más representativos de cada una de ellas.Se inicia el repaso legislativo histórico recordando la Ley Moyano (1.857) por la que se establece el título de Practicante y Matrona, se finaliza con la situación actual de los estudios del Grado en Podología en España.

    This paper presents the fruits of a set of readings to support the theoretical content of university teaching, which have in common the fact that address various aspects of the implementation of official way of studies of the degree of Podiatry in Spain since there is no evidence for the first official documents available, dating from the nineteenth century to the present.Prospects analysis of this study are basically two. On the one hand, it has sought to deepen the most representative aspects of the legislation over time has regulated studies Podiatry. The other perspective of this analysis is to identify what were the events that have occurred and the measures that have allowed reaching the current Degree in Podiatry. To facilitate understanding of the analysis has been divided into three distinct stages, in which the facts that are considered most representative of each are collected.Recalling the historical legislative review the Moyano Law (1857) in which the title is set Practitioner and Midwife begins, it ends with the current situation of the Degree in Podiatry in Spain.
