Resumen de Juan Egaña contra la nación de comerciantes Educación, religión y ciudadanía en la fundación republicana

  Este trabajo pretende demostrar la visión de Juan Egaña en torno a la educación y la religión como instrumento educador. Trataremos conjuntamente estos dos temas -educación y religión- en vistas de la concepción regalista del autor, para quien la religión era un instrumento más del cual debía servirse el Estado en su función educativa. De ahí que hablemos de un regalismo ilustrado. A su vez, estudiaremos a fondo las raíces y fundamentos de la obsesión educadora que el jurista manifestó durante toda su obra.

  This work pretends to demonstrate the vision of Juan Egaña on the subjects of education, and religion as a tool for the same goal. We will study both concepts at the same time, having on sight the regalism of the author, for whom religion was an instrument of which the State must serve in order to achieve its educational mandate. There for we speak of enlightened regalism. At the same time, we will analyze the roots and fundaments of the educative obsession that the law philosopher demonstrates through all of his work.
