  • The article reports on a study delivered by a committee established by the Irish parliament on January 27, 2016 regarding the banking crisis in Ireland. Topics covered include the decision of the government in September 2008 to guarantee the obligations of all Irish banks to their creditors, overexposure of Irish banks to the property lending sector, and the restructuring of the Central Bank of Ireland into a unitary body.
