Resumen de Prevención del alcoholismo en los jóvenes desde el trabajo social. Aportes teóricos

  El alcoholismo constituye una de las problemáticas sociales que afectan el correcto funcionamiento de la vida social en las comunidades, existiendo en las últimas décadas una tendencia al uso irresponsable del alcohol por parte de los jóvenes, incrementándose así su consumo. A partir de análisis realizados por miembros de la comunidad Pino Gordo se determinó que existe un número significativo de jóvenes con tendencia al consumo de alcohol considerándose necesario realizar acciones para prevenir y alertar acerca de las consecuencias que tiene para la salud el consumo de alcohol en particular, y de las drogas en general. A partir de estas realidades, el trabajo social debe orientar su atención hacia la formulación de acciones estratégicas y dinámicas encaminadas a anticiparse a la realización de este tipo de conductas inadecuadas. En este sentido el artículo aborda aspectos teóricos de interés acerca del alcoholismo, en el que se manifiestan las consecuencias sociales que provoca este hábito tóxico. Destaca la importancia de la prevención social y del alcoholismo en los jóvenes desde el trabajo social, partiendo del presupuesto de considerar el alcoholismo como un problema social.

  Alcoholism constitutes one of the social problems that affect the correct operation of the social life in the communities, existing in the last decades a tendency to the irresponsible use of the alcohol on the part of the youths, being increased this way its consumption.

  Starting from analysis carried out by members of the community Fat Pine it was determined that a significant number exists of young with tendency to the consumption of alcohol being considered necessary to carry out actions to prevent and to alert about the consequences that he/she has in particular for the health the consumption of alcohol, and of the drugs in general. Starting from these realities, the social work should guide its attention toward the formulation of strategic actions and dynamics guided to be early to the realization of this type of inadequate behaviors. In this sense the article approaches theoretical aspects of interest about the alcoholism, in that the social consequences are manifested which causes this toxic habit. It highlights the importance of the social prevention and of the alcoholism in the youths from the social work, leaving of the budget of considering the alcoholism like a social problem.
