    En la actualidad se observa una profusión de traducciones del Corán realizadas por conversos. La globalización ha originado un interés creciente por la «cultura del Otro» (en nuestro caso, el islam) y, con ello, la necesidad de conocer en profundidad su lengua y su cultura.

    Esto supone la traducción de su texto axial, el eje por excelencia de la cultura islámica: el Corán.

    En este trabajo, ofreceremos las entrevistas a dos de los traductores musulmanes del Corán en lengua española: Abdelghani Melara Navío y Raúl González Bórnez. Abordaremos principalmente aspectos traductológicos, dificultades y formación con objeto de conseguir una mejor comprensión de sus versiones

    At present, it has been observed a profusion of the translations of the Coran made by converts. Globalization has given rise to an increasing interest for «the culture of the other» (Islam, in our case) and with it, the need to know its language and culture in depth. This implies the translation of its axial text, the core par excellence, of islamic culture: the Coran.

    In this work, we offer the interviews of two of the Muslim translators of the Coran into Spanish: Abdelghani Melara Navío and Raúl González Bórnez. We mainly deal with traductological aspects, difficulties and formation, with the object of obtaining a better comprehension of their versions.
