  • The article discusses the approach of Gita Parihar, legal head at the non-governmental organisation (NGO) Friends of the Earth (FOE), regarding the Paris Agreement to cut the impact of global warming and climate change. It mentions that NGO challenged the Government in an application to judicially review its authorisation of the use of emergency pesticides to protect oil seed rape against two pests.
