Resumen de El delito de trata de seres humanos: Análisis del artículo 177 bis cp

Dado que la trata de seres humanos es una de las maneras más abyectas en que se manifiesta la esclavitud en el siglo XXI, este artículo pretende mostrar que en Eu- ropa la lucha contra la trata de seres humanos constituye un objetivo prioritario de sus organizaciones institucionales fundamentales y que una buena definición típica del delito y su aceptación uniforme por todos los Estados miembros de la Comunidad In- ternacional es un presupuesto básico para lograr la eficacia en esta lucha. Además, de la adopción de una pluralidad de acciones dirigidas a su prevención, su persecución y la protección integral de la víctima.
En estas líneas se describen, de manera muy sintética y sistematizada, los proble- mas más relevantes con los que se enfrentan los operadores jurídicos a la hora de interpretar y aplicar el artículo 177 bis del Código Penal.

Trafficking in human beings is one of the most despicable ways of modern slavery in the twenty-first century. This article shows that the fight against human trafficking is a priority in European institutional organizations and that a clear definition of this crime, accepted uniformly by all the Member States of the international community is a core need for reaching effectiveness in this fight. There is a need to adopt a number of ac- tions for prevention, pursuit , and full protection of the victim. These lines are describe, very briefly and in a systematic way , the most important problems that legal operators are facing in interpreting and applying the article 177bis of the Spanish Criminal Code.
