  • The article discusses the struggle of Muslim women with rising rates of Islamophobia all over the world particularly France. Topics discussed include a law passed by the French parliament in 2004 prohibiting the display of religious symbols in French schools, the Laicite principle which means applying secularism in the French governance, and the views of Kenneth Roth, Executive Director of nonprofit Human Rights Watch, over ban on the hijab.
