Las estrategias narrativo/compositivas en La biografía difusa de Sombra Castañeda

    Trazaremos una zona de análisis en la cual apreciaremos cómo algunas estrategias narrativas expresas en la novela La biografía difusa de Sombra Castañeda (1981), se constituyen como sutiles acordes que se adaptan con una ductilidad digna a la narrativa del trujillato, a través de una exploración verbal que se expresa como una manifestación del subgénero de novelas del dictador/dictadura. Sin embargo, aunque el referente histórico que evoca el relato versa sobre la dictadura de Rafael Leónidas Trujillo, quien gobernó desde 1930 hasta 1961 en la República Dominicana, la ficción de Marcio Veloz Maggiolo se sucede en una temporalidad difusa –muy fiel a su título–, cuya trama simbólica establece diálogos con el mito y la historia americanos; tendiendo puentes entre narraciones que datan desde el arribo de Cristóbal Colón, paseándose por algunos episodios que visibilizan el sincretismo cultural surgido al confluir el proyecto evangelizador de la unidad hispánica con la imaginería africana, hasta la muerte del déspota centroamericano.

    We draw an area of analysis in which we can appreciate how some narrative strategies expressed in the novel La biografía difusa de Sombra Castañeda (1981), are established in the form of subtle chords that fit, with a dignified ductility, into the trujillato’s narrative, through a verbal exploration that is expressed as a manifestation of the sub-genre of novels of the dictator/dictatorship. However, although that the historical reference that evokes the story is the dictatorship of Rafael Leónidas Trujillo, who governed from 1930 until 1961 in the Dominican Republic, the MarcioVeloz Maggiolo’s fiction occurs in a temporality diffuse -very true to its title,–, whose symbolic plot establishes dialogues with the American myth and history by building bridges between stories dating from the arrival of Cristóbal Colón, walking through some episodes that make visible the cultural syncretism emerged when converge the Evangelistic project of Hispanic unity with the African imagery, until the death of the Central American despot.
