  • The article talks about the progress in information technology since the establishment of research and scientific development company Bell Labs. It discusses the importance of science and math skills and the need for advanced computers to that would help in scientific, mathematical and technical work. It states that the internet has created more economic opportunity, and the wide access to data. In the U.S., cutbacks have been made to arts education, stating that it is important to promote creativity and to be human.
