El síndrome de Laugier-Hunziker (SLH) es una patología infrecuente y benigna, caracterizada por hiperpigmentación de la mucosa oral, labios y región acral, asociada frecuentemente con melanoniquia longitudinal. Su importancia radica en ser diagnóstico diferencial de diversas patologías de hiperpigmentación oral, en especial del síndrome de Peutz-Jeghers.

Laugier-Hunziker syndrome is an uncommon benign pathology characterized by hyperpigmentation of the oral mucosa, lips and acral region, often associated with longitudinal melanonychia.
Its importance lies in being differential diagnosis of several diseases of oral hyperpigmentation, especially the Peutz-Jeghers syndrome.
