  Este trabajo es producto de una investigación más amplia sobre el significado que la Revolución de 1910 y la Constitución de 1917 tuvieron para los católicos mexicanos de principios del siglo xx. Recurriendo al discurso y la actuación de Miguel Palomar y Vizcarra, prominente líder del catolicismo social, este artículo aporta elementos de análisis de lo que Elías Palti llama la ideopraxis de personajes clave de la historia nacional. El trabajo abona a la historiografía sobre el impacto del proceso revolucionario y de su principal producto político-ideológico, la Constitución de 1917, mediante la recuperación de fuentes primarias que muestran el pensamiento y la acción política del personaje en cuestión.

  This work is a product of a wider investigation on the meaning that the Revolution of 1910 and the Constitution of 1917 had for the Mexican Catholics of beginning of the 20th century. In studying the speech and action of Miguel Palomar y Vizcarra, prominent leader of Social Catholicism, this article contributes elements of analysis of what Elías Palti calls the ideopraxis of key figures of national history. This work expands the historiography on the impact of the revolutionary process and of its principal political - ideological product, the constitution of 17, through the recovery of primary sources that show the thought and the political action of the Palomar y Vizcarra.
