    En este edificio para el Ministerio del Interior, lanormativa denía que la fachada debía seguir los lineamientos estéticos y materiales del Barrio Cívico de Santiago. Tomando esa restricción como ventaja, los gruesos muros exteriores se transforman en una masa que asegura la inercia térmica, mientras un ingenioso sistema de vacíos interiores -a la escala de un edificio público ¿ permite la inyección y circulación de aire fresco por todas las ocinas del Ministerio.

    In this building for the Ministry of the Interior, theregulation dened that the facade must follow the aesthetic and material guidelines of Santiago�s Civic District. Using this restriction as an advantage, the thick exterior walls are transformed in a mass that ensures thermal inertia while a clever system of interior voids (at the scale of a public building) permits the injection and circulation of fresh air to all the Ministry offices.
