The Mid-space (�el espacio entre medio�, o �el espacio en la mitad�) es un ensayo fotográfico sobre el espacio entre viviendas en diversos barrios de Boston, Estados Unidos. Las fotografías presentadas aquí no son una mirada a la fachada �es decir, a la imagen que se quiere proyectar� sino a los espacios cotidianos que pasamos por alto, donde lo común se convierte en una postura política: el valor de lo individual, la indiferencia, la noción de comunidad, e incluso la violencia del silencio. Imágenes que confrontan el ideal urbano del sueño americano.

The Mid-space (the �space in between� or the �space halfway�) is a photographic essay about the space in between dwellings throughout different neighborhoods of Boston, United States. The photographs here presented aren�t a view of the façade �that is, the desired portrayed image� but rather those everyday spaces we tend to overlook, where the common turns into a political position: the value of the individual, indifference, the notion of community and even silent violence confronted with the urban ideal of the American dream.
