  • A new diesel train is now under construction for operating in the Yugoslavian Republic of Croatia. Such train will be composed by a motor and a trailer coach coupled by BSI system. The train is of MAN brand, constructed in Spain and similar to other units which are already in operation through the Macedonian Republic.

    Lines served will be of 100 km average, and with a maximum of 200, and speeds of 120 km/h as a maximum. Main characteristics of this unit are the pollowing.

    500 HP powering; trailer coach owns a conduction cabine; trailer and motor coaches do not shear traction equipment (so, a two-motor coach unit will be used if desirable); hydraulic transmission with mineral oil, elastic coupling and intermediate chasis; frame of reinforced light alloy; “louvoyant-coulissant” doors with passenger acting locker; half-opening windows with aluminium frames; temporized dead man device and automatic train stop device.
