    • [Whittleston] joined BASF in 2009 after working at Ciba Specialty Chemicals in the UK. He has also worked for Ciba's Water & Paper Treatment Segment in Asia, Ciba's Specialty Chemicals business in Tarrytown, New York, and as global head of marketing and new business development for Ciba's Process and Lubricant Additives business.

      TSX-listed Quest Rare Minerals Ltd has announced that Anil Singh will join the company's marketing and investor affairs team as vice president of investor and corporate affairs. In his new role Singh will lead Quest's investor affairs and marketing team, reporting directly to CEO Peter Cashin.

      Quantum has also appointed Claude Dufresne, who formerly sat on the company's technical advisory board, to its board of directors. Dufresne graduated with a bachelor's degree in mining engineering from Laval University in 1991. Since graduating, he has been working with Cambior as a metallurgist and then a mill superintendent, before being transferred to Cambior's largest operation located in South America where he worked for 10 years on the operational side of the business before becoming responsible for the worldwide sales and marketing of Cambior's ferro-nioibium and calcined bauxite. In January 2008 Dufresne joined Camet Metallurgy Inc., which was responsible for the worldwide sales and marketing of Iamgold's niobium until the end of October 2012.
