    • One North American source said that prices for 94[Eth]97% C (CIF Europe), +80 mesh material were up by around $50/tonne to $1,450-$1,850/tonne from $1,400-$1,800/tonne; -100 mesh prices were up to $950-1,250/tonne from $900-12,00/tonne; and +100[Eth]80 mesh material increased to $11,00-14,50/tonne from $10,50[Eth]14,00/tonne.

      Prices for Chinese barites, API drilling grade, unground lump and API lump (CIF Gulf Coast) have fallen to a range of $128-135/tonne from $130-140/tonne and to $153-160/tonne from $155-160/tonne, respectively.

      Barites, drilling grade unground lump (OCMA/API bulk) FOB Chennai have also dropped to $136-142/tonne from $140-145/tonne, while Chinese paint-grade barites, lump (CIF Gulf Coast) have fallen to $235-260/tonne from $235-275/tonne.
