  • Resumen
    • The text develops a humanistic-idealistic theory of language based on Chomsky's model of knowledge acquisition. Universal abstract structures and the etymology of languages enable us to explain the underlying unity of Portuguese and Spanish. Specifically, the first principle postulates and initial state in the organizational process of the grammars of all languages, which is common to all men. In this paper, we suggest [latinity] as a linguistic-cultural feature which, combined with the linguistic features of the Black and Indigenous cultures of the Americas, could form the basis for the integration of the multicultural South-American society
