Resumen de Apunte sobre una visita: La Tourette-Firminy

  Planteamos mediante un ejercicio de comparación de dos obras del arquitecto suizo Le Corbusier, el convento de La Tourette y el barrio Firminy Vert, si las bases que se utilizan para proyectar los dos espacios comunitarios, como son las comunidades religiosas cerradas y los sistemas urbanos abiertos, son las mismas, y cuál es el resultado que producen en los usuarios.

  Siendo las bases urbanas desarrolladas por Le Corbusier las utilizadas para construir más de la mitad de la superficie de nuestras ciudades, ponerlas en tela de juicio y reflexionar sobre ellas nos ayuda a pensar la renovación de la ciudad de un pasado muy reciente y cómo afrontar el futuro.

  We compare two projects of the Swiss architect Le Corbusier, the convent of La Tourette and Firminy Vert neighbourhood. The question is if the basis used to think both community spaces, the religious closed community and the open urban system, are equals. We contrast the result of these projects according to the people that lives there.

  The urban principles developed by Le Corbusier were used to build more of the half areas of our new cities. If we put them in crisis and we think about them we can propose the rehabilitations of the recent past cities and we can afford their future.
