El presente trabajo se aproxima a la literatura de viajes a partir del libro de Andrés Neuman, Cómo viajar sin ver (2010), que presenta un periplo por Latinoamérica narrado a partir de pequeñas notas o microrrelatos. En él, no solo se reflexiona sobre la nueva forma de viajar (y, por ende, de relatar el viaje), sino también sobre los sentimientos de alteridad o identidad que le provoca al autor el encuentro con su continente de origen.

This essay approaches travel literature from Andrés Neuman’s book, Cómo viajar sin ver (2010), which presents a voyage through Latinoamerica related in small notes or microfictions. It reflects both on a new way of travelling (and, therefore, of writing about travels) and on the feelings of alterity or identity that are caused to the author by the encounter with its continent of origin.
