    In a fault between rocks of different ages and nature, near the hamlet of The Rougé (Ariège) four ancient shafts lead to a copper ore lode soon worked out; the mining development can be from findings of some fragments of amphorae and a Campanian shard : the end of the 2nd century and the beginning of the 1st century B.C.

    Dans une faille entre rochers d'âges et de natures différents, près du hameau du Rougé (Ariège), quatre puits antiques donnent accès à un filon de minerai de cuivre, vite épuisé; quelques fragments d'amphores et un tesson campanien datent l'exploitation : fin IIe s. - début Ier s. av. J.-C.
