      Articolul de fata focalizeaza problema discriminarii de gen la locul de munca in societatea romaneasca postcomunista. La baza cercetarii sta o ancheta sociologica pe baza de chestionar, realizata pe trei esantioane reprezentative, din trei orase mari, din regiuni diferite ale Romaniei: Bucuresti, Iasi, Cluj. Discriminarea de gen in lumea muncii, a fost operationalizata in discriminare de gen la angajare, la promovare, la concediere/disponibilizare, si a fost urmarita comparativ la nivelul celor trei orase.

      This article talks about gender discrimination problems at work places in the Romanian postcommunist society. The foundation for this research is a sociological study, based on questionnaires that studied three big samples, from three big cities in Romania: Bucharest, Iasi and Cluj. Gender discrimination in the world of work has been split up into gender discrimination during the hiring process, the promotion process and the redundancy process and has been examined in a comparative way in the three cities.
