Migration has become an important economic and social issue, in Romania as well as in the European Union. An important aspect of this phenomenon is the migration of various Romanian demographic categories toward external work places with a strong impact on family life.
In our paper we analyze the aspects, taking into consideration two case studies: Immigration: The immigration of IT specialists from Germany -the German point of view and, secondly, Emigration Home alone- Romanian point of view.
