Resumen de El género del emprendimiento en el ámbito universitario: las spin-offs universitarias

  Las Oficinas de Transferencia de Resultados de la Investigación (OTRI), juegan un importante papel como impulsoras de la creación de empresas ligadas a las Universidades. La ponencia estará encaminada a la revisión de la normativa de las OTRI que participan en el proyecto EQUASPIN, con objeto de describir sus funciones y observarlas a la luz de los principios de igualdad de oportunidades entre hombres y mujeres. Por otra parte, se realizará el análisis del discurso de su personal técnico teniendo en cuenta el tratamiento que dan a estas cuestiones, por considerarlas de especial relevancia en el proceso de creación, mantenimiento y en su caso, desaparición de las empresas asociadas a las Universidades (especialmente las spin-off).

  The main aim of this paper is to analyze the commitment of the initiatives of equality between men and women developed by the Offices of Research Results Transfer (OTRI) in their actions for promoting entrepreneurship. We hypothesized that the lack of a gender perspective in the design of policies to promote entrepreneurship is generating actions that are perpetuating a lower participation of women in university entrepreneurship. Authors present a retrospective of the regulation of OTRI involved in the project and the analysis of discourse of the technical staff of the OTRI, paying attention to how are they addressing issues such as equality. We believe that the analysis of these speeches is especially relevant in the research of the creation and maintenance of spin-offs. To promote entrepreneurship university is needed also to promote entrepreneurship among women graduates.
