El presente artículo busca describir fundamentalmente dos temas. Por una parte, mostrar brevemente la historia y el desarrollo de cómo un sector de la teología de la liberación latinoamericana está asumiendo los postulados de la teología pluralista de las religiones y sus razones. Y en un segundo punto, cuestionarse si esta unión puede o no deberse a un desarrollo propio de la metodología de la teología de la liberación, o si este paso no está suficientemente justificado y, por tanto, podría existir un camino diferente desde donde la teología de la liberación latinoamericana aporte lo propio a la realidad de un pluralismo de religiones, sin necesidad de asumir el paradigma pluralista

The present article aims at describing two essential subject-matters: on the one hand, to show briefly the history and development of how a sector of Theology of the Latin American liberation is understanding the postulates of the pluralistic theology of the religion and their corresponding reasons for that. On the other hand, the article aims at questioning itself if this match can or not be due to the own development of the methodology in the theology of the liberation, or if this step is not justified enough and, therefore, a different way could exist from where the theology of the Latin American liberation can make its own contribution into the reality of a religious pluralism without having to assume the pluralistic paradigm.
