Los marcos de acción colectiva en la prensa conservadora

    El artículo examina si la prensa de línea editorial conservadora facilita la promoción de los marcos de acción colectiva promovidos por grupos sociales ideológicamente próximos. El objetivo es determinar si el discurso periodístico se contagia, así, de los elementos que integran el mensaje de los movimientos que protagonizan campañas de protesta desde una postura conservadora. Para ello, el trabajo selecciona como fenómeno de estudio la movilización generada en torno a la puesta en marcha de la asignatura Educación para la Ciudadanía en España (2004-2008), analizando el marco que estructuró el mensaje de los colectivos que agitaron el conflicto y el encuadre periodístico que los diarios ABC y La Razón ofrecieron sobre el mismo. Los resultados revelan que sí hubo importantes coincidencias entre ambos discursos. Por ello, la investigación concluye que la prensa estudiada sacrificó el encuadre periodístico que debe buscar la interpretación de los hechos para adoptar el marco de acción colectiva que persigue la movilización de los ciudadanos y la intensificación del conflicto.

    The article examines whether the conservative editorial press facilitates the promotion of the collective action frames promoted by social groups ideologically close. The aim is to determine whether the journalistic discourse is affected by the elements of the message spread by the movements that are responsible for protest campaigns from a conservative stance. To do this, this analysis selected as a case study the mobilization generated around the implementation of the subject Education for Citizenship in Spain (2004-2008), analyzing the frame that structured the collective message that agitated the conflict and the frame that the newspapers ABC and La Razón offered on it. The results reveal that there were significant similarities between the two discourses. Therefore, the research concludes that the press studied sacrificed journalistic framing that must achieve the interpretation of events to take the collective action frame that tries to mobilize citizens and to agitate the conflict.
