  • The first part of a series about the divergent regimes for over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives reporting in Hong Kong and Singapore is presented. Topics covered include rules implemented by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the types of entities that reporting rules apply to, and the types of transactions and activities caught. The reporting rules' applicability to banks is also mentioned
