  • The article discusses how courts in Vietnam are denying arbitral awards that are issued overseas to investors. Topics covered include the protracted process of seeking domestic arbitration, Vietnam's liberalization of foreign investment thresholds, and the ability of a public company in Vietnam to have foreign ownership of up to 100 percent. The application of a foreign ownership cap to certain companies in certain conditions is also mentioned.
