    Contenido de la biblioteca del Convento de Calatrava según el inventario del libro de visitas de 1495. Se trata de un conjunto de libros que el Sacristán mayor frey Bartolomé de Almodóvar dio al Convento para que los freiles leyesen y recibiesen enseñanza. Predominan las obras de carácter religioso pero también abundaban los libros sobre las materias que constituían los studia humanitatis. Identificación de los libros de la biblioteca calatrava según el mencionado inventario.

    The contents of the library of the Monastery of Calatrava according to the inventory of the book of visits of 1495. This group of books was given to the monastery by the first sacristan friar Bartolomé de Almodóvar so that the friars would read and be taught. Although works of a religious character predominate, books about the subjects that constituted the studia humanitatis also abound. Books in the library of Calatrava are identif ed according to the said inventory.
