Este artículo analiza la recepción temprana, en Rusia, de la obra de Nikolái Gógol firmada con seudónimo, y de los primeros dos libros firmados con su nombre. Para llevar a cabo este análisis, se reconstruye el horizonte de expectativas de la época mediante la revisión de las críticas y comentarios de los contemporáneos de Gógol que aparecieron en prensa.

This article analyzes the early reception, in Russia, of the literary works by Nikolai Gogol: those he signed using a pseudonym, and the first two books he signed with his own name. In order to achieve this, it will be needed to reconstruct the horizon of expectations of that period by revising the critics and commentaries written by authors of the same time, which appeared on the press.
